STATUS: WORKING DRAFT — NOT YET IN FORCE. This is a placeholder scaffold, not final legal terms, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Every value marked [to be confirmed] must be settled before publication.
Effective date: [to be confirmed] Last updated: [to be confirmed] Version: Draft 0.1
1. Who these terms are between (parties)
These terms are an agreement between you, the coach using CoachRun ("you"), and [Declan Doherty], trading as CoachRun ("CoachRun", "we", "us") — a sole trader based in [to be confirmed]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CoachRun.
2. What CoachRun is (service description)
CoachRun is a tool that helps qualified running coaches write training plans. Our AI produces a *draft* weekly training plan from an athlete's real training data. You, the coach, review, edit and approve every plan before it reaches an athlete — nothing is delivered to an athlete without your sign-off. CoachRun assists your coaching; it does not replace your professional judgment and does not make training decisions on your behalf.
3. Your account and eligibility
- You must be a qualified running coach to use CoachRun to plan for athletes.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must provide athlete information you are entitled to provide, and use CoachRun only for athletes you actually coach.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use CoachRun to access, plan for, or store data about anyone who is not your athlete.
- Attempt to access another coach's account, athletes, or data.
- Reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or probe the service or its security controls.
- Upload unlawful content, or use the service to break any law that applies to you.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
5. Athlete data and your responsibilities
CoachRun processes personal data, including special-category health data about your athletes. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the service.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share your athletes' information with CoachRun, and for the athlete consent the service relies on (see the consent gate described in the Privacy Policy).
- [to be confirmed]
6. Plans, safety and professional judgment
CoachRun provides drafting assistance and safety guardrails (mileage caps, easy-running floors, hard-session spacing, flags). These are aids, not guarantees.
- You remain the coach of record. You are responsible for reviewing, adjusting and approving every plan, and for the training you prescribe to your athletes.
- CoachRun does not provide medical advice. Athletes should seek medical guidance where appropriate.

7. Fees and billing
